Calendar Added

The thing I love about this blog is it forces me to keep up with technology.  My natural tendency is toward Luddite-ism.  Maybe it’s my German heritage or something.

Anyhow, I needed a new work printer and went on the hunt at Staples (That was easy!)  My new work printer is wireless (how cool is that) and it allows me to scan pictures and documents.  Plus, it was the same model as what we purchased at home, so I already knew how it worked.  Meaning, I knew where the paper when in, where it came out, and how to open it up for the ink replacement.  But on a serious note, I thought a wireless scanner/printer would be handy for First Lutheran, that I could upload things (such as parts of the newsletter that you might care to see online).

Proceeded to do this when August newsletter was published 10 days ago,  and…and…discovered I needed a special cord so the scanned info could upload to the computer.  (Guess “wireless” is a misnomer, but I got deal so I can live with it.)

Finally acquired said cord.  It was two feet too short.  Instead of just moving the printer, you know me; I decided this was the perfect oppportunity to rearrange my whole desk.  Which made the desk look great, but everything else look shabby and messy.  So I…closed my eyes?  NO!  I decided to clean the whole office.  Then, when I logged on to wordpress, the administrator functions were redesigned and I had to re-learn where everything was.

Oh yeah.  Back to the too-short cord.

It’s 10 days later.

Scanned the August Newsletter’s calendar for ya.

On the first try.

Sitting in my newly-TIDY office.

Lovin’ life right now.

You’re welcome.
